18 Years!

Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husband!

J -
18 years ago were sealed in the Chicago temple, starting out a life that has become more than I ever could have hoped for. You are kind, unselfish, fun, smart, hard-working, a great Dad, a good cook (very important!), and a best friend. 18 years ago, if I could have had a glimpse into the future and had a quick peek at our life today, it would have put a smile on my face. I would have been proud of our children, the things we had accomplished, and I would have been pleased with our choices we had made along the way.

Thank you for giving me everything I had dreamed our life could be...I love you and can't wait for the next 18!

Love, A

PS - Isn't it ironic that you spent the day today in Chicago of all places? Hope it was a good one.

PPS - I showed the kids this picture and they said that I looked like Trish, Napoleon's prom date. Nice. I was surprised that they didn't even comment on the beautiful wreath adorned with doves in background.

Happy anniversary! I can't believe they let 12 year olds get married in 1991.

I'm only giggling a little at the pose in front of said wreath with doves on it!!!

Happy Anniversary! Did he build you a cake?

Marianne, hahaha - 12 year olds! I was just going to comment saying that they both looked like little pre-teens in the picture! No wonder they look so young now, they looked like children when they were married.

And they said it wouldn't last ! Who said that ? Not I, said the Mother of the Groom ! (The groom is the one in the picture who looks like he hasn't eaten since he was 12 ! Amy has done a better job of pumping him up than I ever did !)

You really did look like babies in that picture. So cute!! I loved your wedding...especially the ultra flattering bridesmaid dresses and matching headbands!! I was 17, the horror!!

Are you even old enough to legally get married? Jeff looks like he's about 13! Hope it was great!
