The Blue Crew

Last Saturday, Alec had his last football game.

It was a special one because it was a night game under the lights at the high school.
Jeff announced the game,
and Hannah & I ran concessions.

And we witnessed a miracle...they won! 28-6 was the final score.

Experiencing their losing season, ALL season, this was such a great way to
finish it out.


For the last 2 games, the boys were all asked to come up with a nickname.
They used those names during the start of the game as they ran out onto the field
& also throughout the rest of the game as their names were called out.

We had some fun with our last name.
Here's some Jeff & I came up with:

Alec "The Nightmare" Day
Alec Day "Breaker"
Alec "Snow" Day
Alec "Stormy" Day
Alec "Get Outta My Way" Day

But the one that we like best was:

Alec "Make My" Day

Here's Alec's biggest fan...Grandpa Day.
He came to EVERY home game this season, which was 7 games!
