Before It All Comes Down

Before Christmas is taken down and tucked away safely in the attic for next year, I want to share some new "favorites" that we've handcrafted ourselves.

Family Fun magazine had a great idea on how to dipslay all of those Christmas cards...a tomato plant cage! Just turn it upside down, tape the top spokes together, and cover the top up with something festive - I chose an angel. To attach the cards, I bought a box of silver clips from the office store and just clipped them onto the "tree" as they arrived in our mailbox.

Ian was busy at school handcrafting several ornaments, cards, and such for us. One of my favorites was this Christmas ball...the snowmen are made from his handprint and then his teacher or artistic mom painted on the details. So precious!

Every Christmas tree needs a "Christmas Spider" to decorate it with their sparkly webs.

Ha! I love this gingerbread boy!

His dad is a gingerbread boy, too, and has declared that I have "demasculinized" him in his own home. That's okay...I think gingerbread boys are tasty. :)

So cute! I'm going to have to "borrow" some of those ideas for sure!

LOL about the gingerbread boys! Tell Jeff it's because he runs fast too??

Hope you have a great new year!
