Here's a picture of our cute Walled Lake Ward Primary. We had our sacrament meeting program today and they did a really great job. We had only 1 sunbeam who stayed on the stand until the bitter end (not Ian) & 2 kids were home sick, but other than that it went without a hitch! This picture was taken right before church was over, so there are ties missing, a few shirts untucked, and some hairdo's that are just plain messed up.
This is how Alec felt about the whole thing...

Every year we pass out comment cards to the congregation and then read them to the kids during sharing time. Here's a few of my favorites:

"Your presentations, songs and testimonies helped me to feel the love my Heavenly Father has for me. Thank you for such a wonderful program!" Brother Hales
"You sang like angels! The program was done well. Everyone spoke clearly and did a good job. I loved the message you gave." Sister Heneka
"The children all looked so good dressed in white and were all so well behaved. They all knew their parts so well and the spirit was very strong. The future of the church is very bright with children of this caliber preparing themselves to lead it."
"I loved hearing about what you are all good at: football player, soccer player, ballet dancer, good student, and more - but you are especially good at being like Jesus. I loved seeing the pictures of all the prophets. I loved the songs you sang and you sang them so well and so nice & loud. You all looked so beautiful all dressed in white. You reminded me of the temple. Thank you for sharing your favorite memory of your baptism. That was so wonderful to hear you testimonies. I can't wait to be at Alec Day's baptism next week." Sister Facione (duh!)
"Thank you for a wonderful program. There were 2 things that impressed me about the program today. First...each of you looked beautiful, and had a smile on your face that made me feel joyful. Second...you each knew your part and you were reverent. My testimony of Jesus Christ and being a child of God was stengthened." Bishop Wright
I was pleased with the whole thing. Now you'll have to excuse me while I go take a nap!!

Yay!!! They look adorable, and it sounds like it was wonderful!
I'm totally laughing about Alec's feelings about the matter. LOL!
As an eye-witness, it WAS very good ! Alec knew every word to every song, and Hannah had many, many speaking parts and did them all very well. And Ian did a nice job with his little part in the presentation of a monthly theme.
My favorite part was when they sang : " If the Savior stood beside me" ! Got the kleenex out for that one !
My second favorite part was when one of the nursery kids in the congregation said " YEAY !' after they finished singing : "Called to Serve".
So cute! I love those Walled Lake Ward primary kids. Those 11 year old girls are sure getting big and as far as Alec is concerned - well, he gets it from his father...;)
How nice that it was nice and even better that it is over!
I knew all the words to the primary songs this year and was the only one from my sunbeam class singing!
I was thinking about you guys, so glad to hear that the program went so well. I wish we would have been there to see it! Thanks for the pictures, too. It's so fun to see all the kids! :)
