Jeff & Amanda's Visit: The Family Picture

While Jeff, Amanda, Andrew, & Callie were visiting from Utah, we hired a professional to take a family picture. Sounds simple enough. A large group photo, individual families, a grandkids picture....

We chose a pretty little historical park in downtown Northville to be the back drop of our directive.

Everyone arrived looking very clean, crisp, and (this is important for my story) CALM.

The photographer started with individual families...and everyone cooperated nicely. However, it was a long time to wait in between families for set-up and such, so Grammy brought a little bag of candy to "bribe" the kids to behave...

"Hmmmm....it's so hard to choose which hyper-pill will taste the best!"

An innocent game of follow-the-leader with Grammy started the sugar to pump through their little veins.

Then, ring-around-the rosies!

There go the clean, crisp, white shirts...

"Sugar high". Exhibit A.

Exhibit B-P.

The kids weren't the only ones effected from the red dye #472.

Don't ask - we think Jeff has an extra vertebrae because he can stick his toosh out so far!
He is always asked to perform this trick when we are all together. We are easily entertained.

We managed to rein them in and try for a grandkids shot. Adam was still feeling the effects of the twizzlers and smarties. The photographer ended up taping his bottom with duct tape to that rock.

Mission accomplished.
