Ian turns 4-years-old today, and I can't believe that my baby is a big boy now! Yesterday, Jeff and I asked him how old he is going to be and he said, "....10." 10 going on 25!
Ian has been our icing on the cake in our family and we love him so much. I should have known that we would be sent a fighter when I knew we wanted one more! His was the toughest labor out of all 4 and that was just the beginning! As a baby, he loved the bottle (not me), functioned on little sleep, but was adored by 3 older siblings who were a godsend to mom. I've found Ian to be the pickiest eater, hardest to get to sleep, toughest potty-trainer, and hardest to break - he still puts up a fight every night when he has to brush his teeth and this has gone on for over 2 years! Despite his "hard-headedness", he is funny, thoughtful, smart, and freely gives me hugs and kisses. We love you, Ian, and can't wait to see what this year in your little life brings!
