A night in Chelsea - The Common Grille

(cell phone pictures -- sorry).
Well guys -- we relly missed you all. Not just because it was GREAT food, but because it was in Chelsea ~ sort of like home to us all even though only a few of us actually lived here. Shauna and Daren introduced us to the Common Grille years ago and its still one of our absolutely favorite spots of all time.

Kathy, Mario, Scott, Leslie, Amy, Mom, Dad and I all had a wonderful meal ;-). I had the Pickerel with 100 Common Grille rolls. Enjoy the clip. It was taken with my cell phone.

Ohhhhh . . .does this bring back some awesome memories. I so wish we could've eaten with ya'll.

Mom and Dad called us from each stop to run down memory lane too.
Thanks for thinking of us and including us via modern technology!

Tell Amy I love her new doo!

I had the crab cakes and they were the 2nd best I ever ate. The first best being at a place in Depoe Bay, OR. Dad had the halibut just for the "halibut" :)
The company was scintillating, and the Grille was LOUD !!! Chelsea is making it's move on being more eccletic while maintaining it's small town feel. We got there a little early, so toured the main drag. Gone is Polly's, but Pamida still owns the corner. Still felt strange to not head on out to McKinley and all points Dexter-way !

The food was delic....but the company was even better! Chelsea is one of Mario and my favorite places to go. On our anniversary, which was 22 years this year,(yikes!) we ate at the Common Grille and then went to a production at the Purple Rose! It's a cute town and glad we have a connection to it by those of you in the Day family who lived there!
