17 Miler DONE!

Well...I keep chugging along. Its amazing how much a difference no humidity makes. As with previous runs, its clearly not the fastest...but I AM able to maintain a consistent pace. I felt really good on this run and have recovered really well (1 day).

This saturday we are going to run the CRIM (Coolest Race in Michigan). Its a festival of races in Flint. I'm going to do the 10 mile race. Riley/Amy are going to run the 3-5 mile version and Alec/Hannah may run the 1 mile version.

If all goes well...its the LABOR DAY 30K (18.6 miles on 9/3)! Stay tuned.

Run, Forest, Run!

Way to go, Jeff. I can't wait to see pics of the entire family running the crim! That's awesome!

Sweeeeet!

Are you ultimately training for the Flagstar in October?

I take credit for all running successes. You trained by running away from me from the time you were big enough to figure out that you could keep from getting your pants changed that way. I hope you have altered your motivation ! Go Amy Go Amy (and Riley and Hannah and Alec !)

Thanks for the posts. I'm actually in wait and see mode on the Marathon. If I get the Labor Day 30K done reasonably well...I WILL do a Fall Marathon. Considering Toronto, Chicago, or Indianapolis. Stay tuned.

I am so sad that I am out for a fall marathon this year. Way to go bro!
I did do a 50 mile bike ride two Fridays ago. The climb was intense, but the view paid off.
