Indian River 2007 -- one of our favorite summer traditions!

Our annual trip to Indian River was as fun as ever (although we sorely missed Scott, Leslie, and Adam this year). We floated up and down the river for a few days, had dinners, lunches, and snacks...and even hit the big water to catch a fleeting glimpse of the Mackinac Bridge. On Friday night we even caught the local fair! We love this trip and would love to sometime get everyone to go with us. S&D's Moomba would be a welcomed addition (although quite a long trip). Jeff and Amanda joined last year ~ and I'm pretty sure they had a good time :-).

Here's all of us in the boat going through the Cheboygan locks. If you've never done it...you drive into the lock...drop about 30 feet...and then head out toward Lake Huron. Coming back is equally exciting!

Mario's discovered a clothing line called HABAND (www.haband.com). He scored two sweet zip up polyester shirts that we sported on our float down the river. We looked like a couple of mental hospital orderlys and had a lot of fun running with that joke. Here's the two attendents fully decked taking the patients out for a spin :-).
