Goldman Christmas

With all of our sickness in December,
we had to cancel all of our plans with Ed & Max.
In January, we were finally able to get together for a
belated Christmas celebration!

We served pasta & gnocchi with Jeff's famous meat sauce
and my homemade Italian bread.
We even ate Christmas cookies
and exchanged gifts.

Max & Pam always bring their dog, Ziggy,
and Libby follows him around
all light long and makes sure he stays in line!!

It was such a fun night as we were able
to stretch out the Christmas holiday into January!

Jeff G. and I made this plate in 1976!
I love how I colored my hair red in my self portrait!
Many of Ed's gifts to us were
heirlooms from Marti.
He gave all of us girls a scarf of Marti's and
a pair of her earrings in pretty boxes.

My mom did the same thing
this year for us, too,
as she gave us gifts from Grammy & Pop-Pop's  treasures.

It was hard to lose all 3 grandparents in a year,
but I know I will see them again someday.
They all taught me so much,
especially love for family.

What a nice idea to give keepsakes!
