We had our annual Blue & Gold Banquet
for cubs last week.
This is always a big event with lots of planning involved.
Jessie, Naoko & I chose a "Wild West" theme
and I was in charge of food, people!!
We had pulled pork sandwiches, chips and veggies.
Eazy pea-zy.
Dessert was provided from the cake decorating contest...
Ian's won the "Most Wearable" Award.

Naoko was in charge of decorations
and made little campfires for each table.
She's so great to work with!
The boys, of course, performed a skit and sang, "Happy Trails"!
And they got awards!
Ian was acting so silly while he was getting his.
And the audience of 8-year-old boys didn't help!

Food sounds yummy, love those campfire centerpieces, and Ian's face makes me giggle too in that last pic!!!
Cubs, Cubs, Cubs ... where nothing is funnier than a fart or a burp !
And then they grow up and become men ... where nothing is funnier than a fart or a burp !
This is so out of my realm of comprehension...ha ha!! But I do think the decor looks adorable, and way to go on a yummy menu...these are things I definitely comprehend. :) And that last pic of Ian has Scott written all over it.
