TEN on TUESDAY

1. Right now, I am listening to the rain hitting the window next to me. This is a favorite sound of mine, especially when I'm in bed and falling asleep. I'm thinking that tomorrow morning we may have some snow to tromp through!

2. I finished Alec's invitations to his birthday party in a few weeks. He had such a hard time narrowing his guest list down, that he ended up inviting 20 kids! I'm hoping that some will be out-of-town for Thanksgiving...we'll see. We are going to the roller skating rink. A new favorite activity of Alec's!

3. We went to Cincinnati over the weekend for Derek & Mallory's wedding. We had such a great, relaxing time together...and Mallory was a beautiful bride. She was so sweet and asked Riley to play the piano for part of the ceremony, so she AND Hannah got to ride in the limo to the church with her and all of her bridesmaids. Can I just say...she made their day!

4. Tessa, Mallory, Uncle Bill, and Maggie.

5. I LOVE this picture of Tessa & Riley...Mallory's colors were black & lime green.

6. Meanwhile...the boys & Alyssa were quite content at the hotel pool.

7. We all met up at the church for the wedding. Cyndie had made homemade cookies shaped like wedding cakes, beautifully iced & packaged, that each guest received. We also got a little bottle of bubbles to blow on the happy couple as they came out of the church!

8. The reception was at a lodge, complete with a roaring fireplace. Cyndie hand-crafted all of the centerpieces, and each guest got a fresh candy apple at their place setting...

9. The highlight of the night (for the kids, anyway) was the photo booth. You'd go inside, get your picture taken 4 times, and then you'd instantly get a strip of photos to keep and a strip to put in a scrapbook for the bride & groom. This.was.so.fun! I think my kids did it 44 times. Each. Except Alec did it 53 times.

10. But I have to say, the dancing was the most fun. The chocolate fountain powered Ian's dance moves...but everyone got in on the action!

Love the girls dresses!! They match the color scheme and look gorgeous! The wedding looks like it was beautiful. I love the idea of that photo booth. F.U.N!

Hope the rain stays, and the snow doesn't!

What I love in these pix are the ones of the three boys. In each of those their shirt tales are hanging out ! So cute ! These guys really know how to "get down" !

Having seen the "photo booth" pictures, I can only say we have to have one of them at our next soiree !

Did you and your Mom make a quilt for this wedding, too ?
