leaf piles & pilgrims & photo shoots

Here is what we did this weekend,
among other things....

And, today is "Pilgrim Day" in the first grade.
Here's Ian dressed up for the event!
The hat was one Jeff wore in high school, during his "preppy" phase.

And...
A couple weeks ago, our family had a photo session with my friend & photographer, Danielle Blazic. You can't tell in the pictures, but it was about 30 degrees outside!

If you'd like to check out our gallery,
enter her website, go to "clients", and then type in "day" as the password.
You can do this by clicking HERE.

Today, it's gray & raining, so I'm staying home
and sewing some super-festive pumpkins for our Thanksgiving table...
tomorrow is grocery shopping for everything on our menu!
Can't wait!!

I like the fam. shot where you are "waiting for the bus" on a bench (vertical) with the lovely red tree in the background.

Don't like the shots on the steps because they are unflattering to Riley's leg.

The boys shots are all cute, but I like the barn door ones best. Same w/the girls.

It was all I could do to not click "add to cart" for ALL of them!! You have the most adorable family-- Danielle did a fabulous job. I never would have guessed it was so cold, either! Our sweaty heads gave us away!

I really love the ones of you & Jeff alone too. You guys are the cutest.
