the Demon Barber of Fleet Street!
Here's Riley with her "game face" on...she practiced this look a lot at home on her siblings.

Riley & her friend, Blaine. He got his throat slit on stage and got to fall
through a hole in the set. So cool!
It made me laugh, though, because he looks too young to need a shave.
I always knew when Riley was on stage because I would look for her hat. This became her "signature" piece and
she got "Best Hat" award at their cast party.
Her shoes c/o Salvation Army.
We are so proud of Riley & the "thespian" she is becoming...next show is "Willie Wonka & the Chocolate Factory"
this spring.
Stay tuned!

It was quite wonderful from our mezzanine seats. The music is great. The plot ... if you like serial murders and cannabalism, well, we tried to ignore the plot and focus on the music and, of course, the Actress !
I agree Linda, I think it's a funny play for a high school, but I guess it's ok when it is all in the name of art!
I'm sure Riley did a fabulous job and I love her hat, too!
I love her hat AND her game face.. lol! Her productions look like so much fun. I can't wait to hear all about Willy Wonka-- that's one of our family favorites!
Marianne ... This was not her HS play, although performed there. It was done by a Community Players group, and directed by the same guy that does the Lakeland Musicals. He had asked Riley, among others of her friends who had been in last years musical, to come join this cast. The leads were all adults. We just weren't interested in them ... ;o)
How cool for Riley! and what a great experience. and what a chip off the old Jeff Day block! Can she lip sync too?
