INQUIRING MINDS want to KNOW

Ian has been asking a lot of random questions lately that are really hard to answer. His little mind is always thinking ahead and he remembers EVERYTHING you say.

Yesterday, while coming home from the doctor, he asked me where heaven was. He also wanted to know if I was going to die someday. He then asked me where babies come from!

Mommies' tummies, of course!

On the way to the dry cleaner's, he told me that we needed some snow. He said that Dad could make it snow & I told him that only Heavenly Father can make it snow. He thought about that for a minute and told me that it would be a good idea to write a letter to Heavenly Father to tell him that we need some snow. Like any good mother, I suggested a prayer instead. He disagreed - "If we write a letter, we could shoot it with a gun and kill the letter. That way, it will go to heaven and Heavenly Father can get it."

Did I mention this child has a hard time paying attention in primary???

Last Saturday, Jeff took Ian with him to run some errands. They stopped at a gas station for a snack (not a sandwich or hot dog, Jeff N.!!!). Ian picked a bag of Cheetos & a chocolate milk. As they got back into the car and were driving home, here is the conversation that unfolded:

Ian: Dad, this bag of Cheetos doesn't have any pee on it!

Jeff: What??? That's good, Ian. (snicker, snicker)

Ian: There's no letter "P" on it and "P" is for peanuts, so I can eat it.

Jeff: Did you read the bag, bud?

Ian: Yup. And there's no "P".

He was reading the ingredients list!

And for his last observation of the night, before his little brain was tucked into bed, he stated: "Mom, boogers don't have a smell!"

One more random question:
Do ya think my car or garage floor will EVER be clean again?
Maybe sometime before April maybe???

(sorry, that was 2 questions)
