February 2002!

Enjoy this gem! This time 8 years ago I got my Olympic experience as the "Venue Prep" volunteer for the Snowboarding venue at Deer Valley in the 2002 games in SLC. Here's my venue credentials. My job was to shovel snow in the parking lot. It didn't snow...so they sent me home.

I got some really nifty snow pants and jacket that I still have that have the logo all over them. Every now and again I pull them out and say...I was a volunteer in the Olympics and all I got was this "lousy jacket (and pants)" ;-).

That jacket and all your clothes from 3Com were quite a legacy! I think I still have some actually!

The tag looks WAAY more official than "snow shoveler"!! Did you wear it all week just in honor of the winter games??

Aaron was a volunteer also. He was an EMT in the Medals Plaza. He got a whole slew of gear and goods. Fun times!
