Thankful for...Primary Teachers!

We had our annual Primary Board Meeting at my house last Wednesday. We wanted each primary worker to know how much they were appreciated, so we had all of the children in their class, den, activity day group write them a little "thank you" note. We compiled them into books and presented each book to the teachers.

It was fun to read all of the cute things the kids wrote. One sunbeam wrote, "Thank you for sitting me." Another, "Thank you for bringing a snack." It's the little things that we should be thankful for, right???

Darling gift!! When I was a Primary teacher, I always wished that the Presidency showed us more gratitude. I know everyone's job is hard, but when you're "in the trenches" with those kids every week, it can sometimes get a little lonely. It seems like you are doing a very good job of making them feel appreciated.

Oh Amy...I can't tell you how much I treasure those little notes from my class. There is nothing more rewarding to hear that a simple smile, or snacks would make them a little bit happier. Thank you for such a sweet gift. And because I know how selfless you are, let me just thank YOU for being the most amazing Primary President. You always are so creative, loving and kind..and PATIENT with all of the kids, and I know how much they absolutely adore you! xoxo
