A picture of my new best friend...

Meet my new best friend. We go everywhere together. Like, last Thursday night, when Hannah threw-up all over the bathroom - my best friend was there for me. And a few hours later, when she did it again, only coming out the other end, my best friend was there - all through the night.

My best friend is loyal. Friday morning, when Alec woke up with a fever, after battling strep throat the week before, my best friend worked harder than ever - wiping, cleaning, disinfecting, because that is what friends do.

After all of the sickness was gone, I let my friend take a needed rest...in the laundry room cabinet, nestled close to his peers - Mr. Clean, Lysol Spray, Febreeze, and Magic Eraser.

His rest was short, a couple days or so. I knew I could count on my best friend this morning to stand right by my side, when Hannah woke up with, yet, another fever. The common flu this time. Together, my best friend and I will take this flu head on. No germs will get past us this time.

We are a team. A cleaning team.

Flu : a noun meaning sickness with accompanying fluid removal from mouth, behind, and/or nose. Often accompanied by fever and largisse. Always followed by change of diet usually involving chicken broth in some form and a hysterical mother carrying bleach in it's many forms !!!

We salute you and your "friend" !

So sorry to hear about the yucky week with sick kids!
Do you think she's got strep?
Maddi has been strep free now since January when the tonsils came out! She is loving it!

No strep - her throat was fine. It was a classic case of the flu - fever, dizziness, and she was tired. It has now moved on to Ian!

Our house needs an exsorcism to get rid of the evil germs possessing our house!
