Pinewood Derby was last Saturday night
and the boys (all 3) have been working on their cars for
at least 2 weeks.
Now that the sanding, painting, weighing, and scheming is over,

I've finally been able to reclaim my kitchen table back!
Ian's car was called "Screamin' Eagle"
and he was so very proud of it.
In the end, Ian placed 3rd overall!
I don't know who was more excited - Ian or Jeff -
that they finally had built a fast car.
"The Winner's Circle".
On a side note:
We hired a guy to come and run the whole event -
best $50 our pack has ever spent!!
And Ronnie Gantt ran the popcorn machine all night...
and doesn't popcorn make any event more fun??

Yay for the Screamin' Eagle! Though I think someone should have double checked the Patch boys' cars-- 1st & 2nd??? Impressive!!
