Ian was inspired by Riley's
2 performances at our Stake Youth Talent Show
last Saturday night.
She sang a solo with her ukelele
and then she played electric bass in a band
she & 3 other YM in our ward put together.
So Sunday after church,
Ian had his first ukelele lesson from Riley.
She told him that morning that she would teach him
when we got home from church,
and that is all he talked about on the ride home.
She taught him 3 chords and they played together for a while.
He picked it right up and was so proud of himself!
I love that our kids find joy in music
and when I hear them playing it makes me happy. :)

awwww, how cute! When Jeff was a senior in high school I was Ian's age!!! I thought he was the "coolest", too!
