Annie!!

Watching Riley & Hannah this weekend star in "Annie"
was one of the few "pay back" moments we get as mothers.

I was so proud of both of them.
Riley's voice was just beautiful and she shined
as she portrayed Annie.
And Hannah was so fun to watch as she pulled face after face!

Daddy Warbucks and "Sandy" -
actually his dog in real life!
Riley and Charlie have been friends since 2nd grade.

Both of the girls have always been performers...
from Hannah's basement productions to Riley's
solos at the dinner table
(remember her rendition of "Once There was a No-Man"?)

Hannah and her friend, Hannah! - Orphans "Kate" and "Molly".

I really think the orphans had the most fun!
And had some of the best dance numbers, too.

Hannah and Ms. Hannigan...

Lily, Hannigan, and Rooster.
I'm going to forever call 5 dollar bills "Fivers" now,
thanks to one of Rooster's best lines in the show!

Blaine even came all the way from MSU to see Riley.
I have a picture of these 2 together since Wizard of Oz, her freshman year.
Awwww...

Saturday night we had the cast party at our house
after the last show.

The seniors gave out their "Paper Plate Awards" to all the cast & crew,
and the cast & crew surprised the seniors
with a special movie they made for them -
video messages from the cast wishing them well
as they graduate and thanking them for being good examples, etc.

There were MANY tears shed!!

And we ended the night with these cute cookies
that I ordered from Milford Bakery...
festive, huh??

Mel - because of copyright laws they can't make DVD's of the show. They hired a photographer to take pics of the show and that's all we've got!

Well, BOO on copyright laws ! That's just so wrong !

Indeed ! "Copywrong" laws !
