Thanksgiving was a colossal event this year!
2 turkeys
26 people
3 tables
at least a dozen pies
and lots of food in between!
The day BEFORE, Jeff spent 4 hours building a rocket.
He called it a "turkey launcher" because he
decorated the 2-liter bottle with feathers...
as you can tell from the picture,
it wasn't a very fun project OR idea.
I was busy trying out some new recipes with Hannah -
Thanksgiving punch, pumpkin-shaped cheeseball,
and a banana cream pie.
All were great additions and the recipes are on the Plenty to Eat Blog. :)

We are so blessed with family & friends to share the day with!
Here are some of my favorite pictures...
And after dinner...
It took a whole day to put the house back
together, but what fun we had!
On Friday, we had pie with Grandma & Grandpa Day,
Ben & Erin & kids, and Suzy & Mark & kids.
I didn't get any pictures but
it included loads of calories, whipping cream,
and wrestling cousins using pillows as weapons.
Poor Grandma was the referee...Hee hee.
