We're Ready!

After a crazy night with the wind howling
and hail pounding
outside our windows, this is what we woke up to...

The wind continued to blow with gusts up to 40 mph all day long today,
thanks to Hurricane Sandy.
Our thoughts and prayers have been with friends and family
who were right in the thick of it near NYC.

Meanwhile,
we have been preparing for tomorrow night!

I've spent some time in my sewing room...

And for Family Home Evening,
we performed brain surgery on 4 pumpkin heads.

And the finished products...

Mario (minus the eyes that fell out), "eek", sunglasses, and a vampire!

Bring on the candy!!!

Did you sort the candy to make sure all "suspicious" items were removed ? I used to remove those "suspicious" bars w/coconut ! :o)
