Today I'm taking a sick day. Ian is home sick with strep and I've come down with some kind of bug...it's all in my chest! Yuck.
The rest of the kids have a half-day, so we are staying home and watching the snow fall outside.
Most of my shopping is done (online!) and I love hearing the doorbell
ring with another package of goodies to be wrapped
and put under the tree.
I still have some sewing projects which I'm looking forward to working on.
The boys have done their shopping
at the school's Holiday Shop.
Every year, these are always the first presents to be put under the tree
and they get so excited for us to open them.
I love to see what they picked out for each member of our family.
And, yes, they even have gifts for the dog...

I'm sorry you're sick! The lights & snow out the window sure make it look cozy & relaxing. Hopefully resting a bit helped.

I think that holiday shop at your school is the cutest thing ever.
If there is snow, it's ok that it's a sick day - no guilt about not going to the gym or shopping or doing anything else that might be productive! Feel better soon.
