A 9-Day Weekend

We are gearing up for a 9-Day Weekend in Florida.
And we are leaving tomorrow...so this morning I got a much needed
pedicure so I can break-out the flip flops!

I haven't packed a thing yet but somehow everything will get into the suitcases
before 8:00 am tomorrow morning!
Riley's 16th Birthday is on Sunday,
so I've got a few tricks up my sleeve for that special day, too.

In the meantime,
not to procrastinate the laundry and such,
here's some pictures from Alec's pinewood derby race!


His car, Black Knight, placed 4th out of 5 cars -
and he figured out that it raced faster going backwards than forwards!

Now I'm going to move forward
and conquer the laundry...
