Ian's first grade class is studying "families" and
their last assignment to culminate the unit was to create a "family banner".
We were provided the red banner...and everything else was up to us.
So, we each traced our hand and decorated it with our talents & things we like to do.

And, speaking of families, my mom is taking the day off today
for some sewing, lunch, and perhaps a bit of Christmas shopping.
