A Fuzzy Update

About a week ago, for Family Home Evening,
I opened up my "personal quest" to my family.

Actually, Jeff had never seen the jar before
(must have been in the same place his keys and wallet always hide).

The kids had been asking questions about my jar,
and, when we started doing a "warm fuzzy" jar in our Primary,
my kids wanted to do it at home, too.

We kicked it off with a FHE and a challenge
for every family member to add a "warm fuzzy" to our jar each day.
When they get home from school I ask them,
"What have you done for someone today?"

Ian was so enthusiastic about this that he concocted a story about a new boy
he was befriending at school. All last week , he would come home
and tell me something else he had done for this new boy in his class -
from helping him find his locker to sitting with him at lunch.

I happened to be at the school on Thursday
and I commented to his teacher how much fun Ian was having
helping her new student.
She looked at me funny and said, "I haven't had a new student all year!"

Don't you love the enthusiasm of a child?

Busted! Are his fuzzies now null and void? Or are you counting them for "good intentions"?!? Too funny!
