3 years ago Alec went to this same preschool as a 4-yr-old, too. Ian was just learning to walk and I was carting him in and out of the building each time I would drop off and pick-up Alec. This was not an easy process, especially in rain, snow and ice & dealing with a car seat, boots, coats, hats, etc.! Ian made it so hard, being the ACTIVE 1-year-old that he was, when Alec would have a special Halloween or Christmas program for parents. Ian was always the little baby brother who was crying in the back of the room or screaming to get out of his stroller so that he could play with all the toys so cleverly displayed around the room. I'd watch the other moms in the class, especially the ones who were ALONE enjoying the songs and poems being performed, and thinking they were so LUCKY to be able to enjoy this without chasing a toddler around! And now I'm the mom who'll be sitting alone and enjoying Ian's special programs, and I'll be the one who picks-up and drops-off in a snap!
This will be his third year at Peanut Patch - his first year in a mom & tot class, his second in the 3-yr-old program, and now this year. He'll be going MWF mornings from 9:15-11:45. During those hours, you will find me at Lifetime, the mall, Kohl's, Meijer, Costco, or any other place that is much more fun when you don't have kids with you :)!

He'll always be your baby. What a cute little peanut patch preschooler! Love the "thumbs up" sign.
Can you say party time!!!???
I love his "quote" this week ! He is a carb-oholic just like me ! I have always said I could eat a mashed potato sandwich, and be perfectly happy ... well, not as happy as olive loaf, but you get my drift.
what a cutie!! That peanut patch preschool had better take good care of the little peanut who can't eat peanuts!! :)
He looks so happy to be going to school. What a cutie!!
