Alec "Ali" Day!!!
Today was Alec's first football game of the season and it was an absolutely beautiful day to be at a game! We played against Fowlerville, "A real tough team, maybe the toughest in the league," according to Alec.
This week he was on the offense line and did a great job at blocking his end of the field. At one point in the game, he did a silent slit-to-the-throat gesture at his opponent, who replied, "You're dead meat!" As a mother, it really doesn't get better than that, does it??
I just had to take these shots showing his name on his jersey...
He ended the game with a smile on his face, his team scoring 1 touchdown, and the other team scoring 1, too (even though they don't officially keep score this 1st instructional year).
Next Saturday is his first home game
against Howell @ 9:00 am on the
Lakeland High School Football Field!

Wow that is some heavy duty important looking football! Ethan is playing flag football and after looking at those pictures, I think I am very glad.
