In honor of her 11th birthday(and Gage's 9th - thanks for the idea, Mel!)
Here's 11 things we love about our sweet, sun-shiney

Hannah Lynne! Here we go...
1. She is very easy-going and looks on the bright side of things.
2. Hannah always has a smile for you, a metallic one at the moment.
3. She is a super-duper big sister to Alec and Ian, and keeps them entertained with her games of pretend in the backyard. Ian's favorites are "Mom & Dad" and "Knights & Princesses". I don't know many middle-schoolers who are still willing to play with their 4 & 7 year old brothers and have fun while doing it!
4. She has always had a big imagination and, as she is getting older, keeps us all laughing with her wacky voices and the weird faces she can pull.
5. Hannah can laugh at herself and will freely admit things about herself that others wouldn't want to confess: like she still sleeps with her yellow "blankie" (Awww!), which is now adorned with holes and torn edges.
6. She loves to shop and put together outfits for both her and Riley. She also loves accessories and anything that jingles, jangles, or sparkles.
7. Hannah is always interested in what everyone else is doing. If I'm cooking, she's there helping me. If Riley is playing the piano, she is dancing along. If Jeff is outside flying his airplanes, Hannah is enjoying the show.
8. Hannah is a good friend. She is loyal and really fun to be around.
9. She is fun to cook for. She isn't too picky, always comments on how good things taste, and says, "Thank you."
10. Hannah is accomodating. She'll sit anywhere in the car Ian tells her to, will sleep on the floor at a hotel if Alec wants the bed, will scoot over on the couch to make room for more, and will always say "Yes" to my requests like "Go get another gallon of milk from downstairs" or "Run upstairs and get Ian a new pair of underwear" or (my favorite) "Please give me a back scratch!"
11. Last, but not least, Hannah is a nurturer. She loves animals and little kids. She feeds Libby everyday without being asked, and she'll listen to Ian tell her about everything he did at school that day.

And the list could go on and on!! She really is a sweetheart and we're so glad to have her in the family...she's always happy to entertain my girls when we're together as well, which I'm so grateful for.
Happy Birthday Hannah! I can still remember your chubby cheeks from when your parents brought you home!!
Her chubby cheeks and her tiny toe which she always managed to get stuck out from the blanket !
And now she is such a lovely young lady, inside and out.
