Girl's Weekend in Chicago...

Thought I'd share the pictures from my whirlwind weekend in Chicago from April 10th-12th, with great girlfriends Kathy Utley, Cheryl Lines, Tammy Gantt, Cindy Wright, Kellie Davies, and Kelly Ellis. We had a great time!

I was the designated driver and we all piled into my suburban Thursday afternoon around 3:30. After stopping for dinner on the western side of the state, we arrived at the Marriott Courtyard in downtown Chicago around 9:30.

Friday was a day of shopping, eating more food than we should have, debating who our fav american idol was, and enjoying popcorn from Garrett's (we all agreed that the Chicago mix was the best - cheese and caramel popcorn mixed together...finger lickin' good!). We ate a delicious dinner at a place some ladies in line at Garrett's suggested (if they had good taste in popcorn, why not restaurants?). Friday night we saw a new musical at the Cadillac Theater, "The Drowsy Chaperone". It was a really great show - good music and lots of laughs. If you ever get the chance to see it - GO!

The highlight of the weekend was piling 6 of us into the back of a taxi - don't ask - and then all sharing a hotel room!

Saturday, we shopped some more and headed back home. It was great to get away and spend time with friends...

I'll second the I miss you guys! It looked like fun (although rather cold and rainy). You're all welcome to take a girl's trip to Phoenix. It's warm and sunny here in the winter, too.

Man, I wish we could edit our comments! Sorry, the delete was me-- I totally spelled something wrong and wanted to fix it!

Can I third how much I miss you guys! That looks like such a fun trip, even in the rain! I *heart* Chicago.

Tell everyone I said hello!
