Riley's prom was on Wednesday night.
I can't believe that this is all happening!
It seems like yesterday that my mom packed her suitcase
full of outfits for Riley, as she came out to Utah
to meet her for the first time!
We'd put one on her - ooh & ahh - and then say (in our baby voices) -
someday you'll go to school! someday you'll go to prom!
Fast forward 18 years and here we are.
I love the dress Riley picked out.
Her hair, shoes, and jewelry all went with her vintage theme -
her necklace was Grammy's and her earrings were Marti's.
(it was raining outside - of course - so this is as close to an outside
shot as we could get!)
(successful loading into the car w/o getting dirty)
They had a great time -
after the dance, she went to her friend Kara's house and she &
her girlfriends had a sleepover.
Now onto commencements on Sunday!

She looks absolutely stunning! From that gorgeous dress, to her hair & jewelry, and THOSE SHOES! Love it all. The vintage theme is my favorite, and I think she could have been walking the red carpet for sure!

So lovely ... makes me want to weep.
She is such a beautiful girl, and I should know as I have seen a lot of beautiful girls in their prom dresses including her mother & aunts.
The shoes are to die for and it was hard to see the lovely hands and not remember a passy in each !
