Jeff and the kids spoiled me rotten, as they do each year,
for Mother's Day.
Jeff had early meetings so the boys made sure that I got my
corsage to wear to church out of the fridge.
It was a beautiful orchid -
just like we used to give my mom each year when I was a little girl.
Alec also made me some toast for breakfast!
(I think he actually made it for himself, but
when I walked by him he handed me a piece. Sah-weet!)
The primary sang a musical number in sacrament meeting -
Ian stood up in the front row and sang to me the whole
time. He made my heart melt!
We tried to take a picture of ourselves and my corsage
after church, but I cut off Riley and Alec's heads - sorry guys!
Later that night,
Jeff and the kids made dinner for us, all the grandparents,
and Scott, Leslie and kids.
Jeff's theme was Surf-N-Turf -
steak and shrimp on the barby!
And Leslie brought her new little bundle to
the festivities - what a blessed mama she is!
Eli Warner Goldman smelled heavenly and he
indulged us as he let us pass him around all night
as he slept contentedly...
It was a perfect reminder of my 4 little ones,
who aren't so little anymore.
They bring me so much joy and happiness.
I'm a better person because I am their mother.
