Alec's Letter 2 Santa

Last night, the kids sat down and wrote their letters to Santa.

I told them to include anything they wanted but

nothing is guaranteed!!

Alec's letter had us in stitches...

it reads like a ransom note.

Dear Santa,

This year for Christmas what I really want is an iPod.  If you can't get me that, I want a really nice model airplane that I could fly around - like a RC.  It should be big.  I also want 3 slot cars that are really nice.  I want a $50 iTunes gift card with the iPod.  I want a big Lego set, about 1000 pieces or lower.  I also want a good book series that I will LOVE.  Also, I want a wii speaker/headphones.  I want anything else if you can.

Here we are getting in the holiday spirit
in downtown Milford.
Last Thursday night, all of the shops stayed open late,
Santa was visiting, and both Alec and Hannah's
choirs caroled up & down main street.
They even had horse-drawn carriage rides
with jingle bells jinglin'!

As we were sipping hot chocolate,
we discovered a small shop we had never seen before...
It said, "Slot Cars" and you would have thought
we had found Atlantis!!
The boys were so excited.
They raced each other 3 times,
which gave me some time to wander by myself into some
of my favorite shops.
