Phat Pants

(froggy fabric!!!)

Don't ya love when you get a really good laugh in and
you laugh so hard you are crying and your stomach muscles ache?

That is what happened to Hannah and I when we decided to
make some pajama bottoms together...

It all started when we went to "dusty" JoAnn's
(that's what Hannah likes to lovingly call that establishment)
to pick out some fabric and a pattern.
The problem was that when we got home we realized that we purchased the
pattern in a size L, instead of S.
But we went ahead and decided to make them anyway
because we were...in the mood.

This is a picture of the pants BEFORE we put in the elastic waistband
and this is the point where we laughed so hard we were crying on the floor.
They were just so BIG!!

But we continued on
and ended up with a very large, very comfy pair of
pajama bottoms for Hannah.
And sore stomach muscles.
(hee, hee)

I've made some whopper of pajama pants too. The best were the BYU ones with special order fabric that I made last year for Christmas. We laughed so hard Christmas Eve! I should really be banned from the sewing machine.

Ha, Ha, Marianne!

I like to say, "JoAnn's made me do it!" There's something about that place that makes me think I can tackle a project, but then I get home and reality sets in...
