to the Mother/Son Dance at the school.
We got all dressed-up and met some football moms & their sons
at Milford House for dinner.
All of the boys looked so nice and were on their best behavior!
When dinner was over and the waitress brought us our
checks, Alec reached into his pocket and said,
"How much is it, Mom?"
I told him how much and then he handed me a wad of cash.
So sweet!
(Later he told me that it was from his Dad)
When we got to the school,
we checked our coats in and the boys picked out a corsage for me.
They chose the red rose one.
Highlights of the evening were the Hokey Pokey,
Limbo, the song where we made a big train,
and the balloons falling from the ceiling at the end of the night.
Alec told his friends that last year there was a $2o dollar bill in one of the balloons
(WHAT? we didn't even go!),
so they proceeded to pop as many as they could.
Ian didn't like the dancing so much,
but had a lot of fun with the balloons at the end.
I couldn't have asked for a better night
with my 2 favorite "boyfriends"!

What gentlemen! Such a great idea for boys to treat their mommas to a nice night out.
Love Alec's "stories"-- seriously $20?? I can imagine the frenzied popping that ensued!
I love the "how much is it ?" line. Mr. I got it !
How sweet that the school sponsored such a thing. I think that's worth your school taxes in and of itself ! (Well, not really... )
They are so cute! Little gentlemen boys make my heart melt. Here's to never growing up!
