Christmas already?

Yes, I've had Christmas on the brain this week.
I'm teaching a "Holiday Appetizer" class at our Super Saturday in a week
so I've been collecting lots of yummy recipes & tricks to share.

I've noticed one common thread among most of these recipes...
cream cheese and sour cream.
Which is why I'm also back at the gym doing classes
instead of running outside.
Spinning was Monday and not only was it challenging,
but my butt-bone is SOAR! Next week I need to bring a jelly-seat for my tush.

Along with all this recipe searching,
I've been de-junking all 3 storage rooms and the kid's closets...
We even gave away our swing set.

I can't believe our family is to the point where we don't use one anymore!
Our swing set in our old house was my saving grace
and when we moved a year & a half ago the kids never really
played on this one.

I figured we'd give it to a family who could use it.
In the spring we'll either put a tether-ball pole in or a fire pit. We'll see.

I've also been setting up a craft room upstairs
and even had the time to add sleeves to Hannah's Homecoming dress...

Riley's didn't need any altering - she wanted to wear a shrug.
Sometimes I just love the simple-side of Riley!

Now Hannah on the other hand...
she tried on about 50 dresses until she finally made a choice. Oy!
And don't get me started on the "accessorizing" she insisted upon.

Getting ready...while taking an important text.

Look at my girls all grown up!
(It was too cold & windy outside to take pictures out there).

Lucas asked Riley to Homecoming, but his high school & Lakeland had
it the same weekend - so they went to Riley's.

They went with a big group of kids...including Lauren - friends since 2nd grade!

Hannah went with a cute group of her friends & had a great time.

Hannah & Sonya.

So there it is. Just some of the things that have kept me busy!
Tomorrow starts a not so busy weekend - football and perhaps the cider mill. Yay!

You gave away your swing set? Tell those kids of yours they needed to stay little.

Gorgeous girls = check
Beautiful dresses = check

The sight of those girls just makes me sad that we aren't there to send our kids with them! And don't even get me started on the cider mill. Did I mention it is 100 degrees today?

I remember the first time I took a Spinning class at Compuware...couldn't sit for weeks!! LOL!! It will get better I promise! Your butt just has to get used to it. sounds terrible, I know! :-) I always felt like the Wicket Witch on those bikes.

We've missed you!! So glad you're back to blogging!!
