I didn't realize today was St. Patrick's Day
until around lunchtime...
so the kids forgot to wear green to school
(except for Hannah. she LIVES for that kinda stuff.)
I made a quick stop at Milford Bakery
for some green goodness:
Ian brought this
little creation home from school:
We even made our own "Shamrock Shakes"
(Ian had chocolate)
and slurped them through green straws
while watching a corny Disney Movie,
"Luck of the Irish".
But what really made this day special
was the 68 degrees my rear view mirror
was displaying for me.
The snow is melting, the kids are playing outside again,
and, as you drive through the neighborhood,
everyone is out of hibernation!!
Can't wait until we see more green out our windows
over the next several weeks!

I totally forgot about St. Patty's Day. ha-ha! Thank goodness Marianne brought festive shamrock cookies over-- I'm such a slacker!!
