I got the bug to craft during the summer
and thought I'd share some projects I worked on.
There is something about "creating" that I just love -
I love the planning, picking out the fabric, I love
the process of figuring it out,
& I love the end result.
First, I made Adam and Ian each a "Car Cozie."
I initially got the idea back in March while visiting my favorite quilt shop
in Utah. I bought the fabric, but I later
found the instructions HERE.
{A great blog because she's got a lot of fun things to make for boys...}
This is for any "hot wheels" enthusiast...
who is also on the go.
Inside are pockets for your favorite cars & a road to play on.
Doesn't get much better than that...!

This was pretty easy and took about an hour to make.
But...the cuter the fabric, the better it turns out.
BTW - i.love.this.fabric!!
The next project was one that Hannah and I did together
to surprise Riley when she got back from EFY -
my mom used to always redo my room or add something new to it while
I was away at summer camp, etc.
So that's something I've always done for my kids, too.
We made these super-cute padded bulletin boards for them
to keep all those important pictures & papers organized and displayed.
Each is hung over their bed.
.
Very easy (no-sew) and you get to use a heavy duty stapler. Fun!

My next project...make a craft room for myself so that I can
always have something to work on...
stay tuned!

cute, Amy! Braeden's primary teacher made them "crayon cozies" for christmas last year. They are the BEST for sacrament meeting coloring.
Way to go!! All is darling!
Love them all!!! Did I tell you I went to the Pine Needles shop and they didn't have any more of those kits! Bummer for me! Thanks for posting the info though!!! :)
Somebody else has been busy crafting too:) Your car cozies turned out adorable! I had to laugh because I have that printed out in my "to do" folder that Luke has quickly moved to the top:) Was hoping to have it done by now but that hasn't happened. BTW we sure do miss you guys!
Way, way cool. I love that car fabric!
