Today, Jeff taught the boys the ART of shoe polishing. Ian was totally in the zone.
This little man had the same look in his eye that I get when I've
got a cleaning project underway.
Determination. Anticipation. Joy.
He and I both love things neat & tidy. A few Saturdays ago, he and I were watching an info-mercial together that was pushing these:
We were awe-struck.We sat in silence as we watched it magically clean wood floors, tile floors, laminate floors!
How easy! How sanitary! How snazzy!
He looked at me after a few minutes and said, "You need one of those, Mom."
I replied with something like, "Ian, get me the phone."
After a few minutes, our new Haan steam cleaner was ordered
and would be arriving at our door step in 8-10 days.
Impulsive? No. To Ian and me it was just a measure that needed to be taken for the sake of our wood and tile floors. Easy as that.

LEt me know what you think of it. I have been watching the Steam Shark infomercial.
I really like it. I had a shark floor steamer that I didn't like as much. It was hard to push. The Haan glides over the floor easier...
