Homecoming 2009

Highlights (for me) from Riley's first Homecoming Weekend:
1. Going to the football game with Alec and watching Riley & Alec take off in different directions with their friends.
2. Listening to Riley's choir sing the national anthem. They were quite good!
3. Thinking that not much has changed in 20 years in teenage behavior at a HS football game.
4. Disappointed in NO FLOATS! Each class decorated a wall of the cafeteria instead. The seniors won - surprise, surprise!
5. Alec offering to buy me a hot chocolate because I was FREEZING!
6. Helping Riley get ready for the dance & painting her toe nails as she was walking out the door.
7. Dropping her off at the pre-party and taking pictures with all of the other parents.

(taken with my phone...we look a little green!)

L.O.V.E. the whistling shot ! It reminds me of what a tease she has always been. Do the devil horns ever get old ?

Even green, there is nothing better than chilly football games under a warm blanket!!

Riley is such a beauty! She just shines in all those pictures. Happy Homecoming!!

Riley's dress is so cute. I love the shrug. We just got done with homecoming festivities around here too. Paige opted out of the dance and instead went for a scavenger hunt with her friends.
