Happy Birthday, E-Man!

We celebrated Ian's 5th birthday on Sunday! We had a pretty low-key day. He wanted hamburgers for dinner, we opened presents, and had cake and ice-cream with just the 6 of us. His favorite present was his very own kid-friendly digital camera and the "shark-bite" slip-n-slide! He picked a monsterous double-chocolate cake, which had so much sugar layered in it that we were all dancing in the kitchen moments after our first bites! Seriously!! His wish when he blew out his candles: I wish for a big blow-up! Wish to be granted the next morning....

Monday all of his little buddies came over for a Star-Wars water party (all his idea!). I borrowed a big blow-up water slide from Kelsey, we set up the "shark-bite" get-up, blasted water guns, had a water balloon battle, and "Dark Vader" even came at the end to verse all the boys in a light saber duel. Ian loved it all! Here's some pics of the fun...
