Amanda planned ahead and got us all tickets for the temple open house. It was a beautiful temple and I'm so glad that the kids got to go with us. They were all really reverent and the girls especially appreciated all of the small details that made this temple so special. It was really close to where we used to live and it was neat to see how the area had changed in seven years! When asked what his favorite part of the temple was, Ian replied, "The cookies."

We loved the Temple Tour, but got a kick out of Paul's sister, Gloria, telling us that "this is one of the small Temples like you have." Uh, no !
I love our Temple. We worked so hard to get one. Seeing it always makes us remember all the years of tears and drives to SLC, Washington DC, Chicago, and Toronto before ours was announced.
Mitchell has declared that this is the temple that he wants to be married in! We went early in the morning and you could barely open your eyes in the celestial room because of the brightness. AMAZING!
Riley wants to get married there, too!! :) In about 8-10 years we'll set a date and their dreams will come true.
