Mother's Day 2009

We had a wonderful Mother's Day this year. Griswold's, Goldman's, Facione's & Day's came over for a feast! Jeff wowed us with his multi-tasking in the kitchen. He had 2 grills going and managed to serve lobster tail, salmon, ribs, shrimp, and chicken breasts...all at the same time! Now, only if he could do that while simultaneously helping with homework, scheduling his visiting teaching over the phone, tying a shoe, and wiping a nose...I guess that's why we have mothers in this world!

The day before Mother's Day, Riley and I dipped pretzels in chocolate for gifts. We are becoming pretty good at this.

Alyssa Anne got to come to her first family party. She got all dressed up for it, but slept through the whole thing! What a sweetheart.

We are so blessed to have both of our moms so close to us and so involved in our lives. I can't say enough how great it is to see them both at our children's baseball games, choir concerts and birthday parties. We love you both and are so grateful for all you do for our family.
Happy Mother's Day!

That baby is scrumptious (and that dinner sounded scrumptious too)!! I can just hear Kathy singing her little nickname chants to that new grand-baby. We are lucky to have so many wonderful Mom's in our lives.
