A Confession...or Three

My first confession is that I ate one of these today...all by my little ol' self. I ran into Costco (childless, thanks to Kelsey) to pick up some pictures at the photo lab. I meant to run right in & then right out, but the Berry Sundae was calling my name. I gave in, got in line, and grabbed a spoon. It tasted so good on my 20 minute drive home (a bit tricky when I was making a right turn, but worth the risk). I just learned that the Berry Sundae has 390 calories.

Next time, Ian is coming with me so we can split it.

My next confession is that I have forgotten how much I love to have a project to work on. This cute little card is my latest creation! I whipped this baby out yesterday for a friend. This seriously took maybe 5 minutes to make. Actually, it took more time to get all my supplies out than the actual putting it together did! (I really need a space for my crafting, but that is another subject for another post!)

My third and final confession of the day is that I am obsessed with the Sugardoodle website! I spend waaaayyyy too much time browsing ideas for sharing time, bulletin boards, quarterly activities, how to manage wiggly & unruly CTR 5 classes, and other subjects that fill my head with primary a little too much. My latest idea that I took from it was the birthday gift for 2009.

Naoko and I worked on these together. We made 48 of them and we left the other 48 to do later in the year. Basically, they are wooden magnets with this year's theme stamped on them. They are so CUTE! However, the first child to get one in our primary was a Sunbeam and I have to say that he wasn't too excited about a cute bag of refrigerator magnets. He said to us, "I'm going to go give this to my mom." Consequently, the next week we added a Tootsie Pop to the birthday bag and that certainly sweetened the deal.

Last confession...I've just discovered the "macro" setting on my camera and this picture would have been MUCH better if would have used it. Oh well...you get the jist.

Very cute !

And very yummy Costco delight ! Costco is a version of the "great and spacious building", is it not ? Dad just recently upgraded our membership ... wha ? Even with just the two of us, we buy many things there. Some we even intended to buy ! ;o)

You are such a cute crafty girl! Those little sunbeams don't know how lucky they are.

As for the yummy berry sundae - well, it's not like you have one every day, so I think it's ok!

You shouldn't have look up the calories of that sundae!!! No need to know things like that...it had berries...that means it's healthy and they use frozen yogurt, right...again healthy because it's in the milk category!

I'll try to make a big deal about the magnets so Jackson can be super excited about his prize in a few months!!! They really are cute and such a great idea! Thanks for all your hard work with the kids! We are so blessed to have you!!!

I love the sundae, I love the magnet and I love the card and I especially love Sugardoodle. I stayed on it like a stalker when I was the YWs pres. It is so helpful!! :) I would always think what in the world would I have done if I was yw's pres without the internet (back in the day)?? Don't you just wonder how our leaders when we were kids came up with all of their ideas with no one else to steal, I mean borrow from?
