Letter FROM my brother, Jeff

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to share this really cool email that Craig and I received from Elder Richard Hinckley - President Hinckley's son. He's a General Authority over the missionary department.

Craig and I met with him for about 10 minutes the other week to deliver 103 CDs of "Man of Honor" to all of the Hinckley posterity. We also visited with Don Staheli - Pres. Hinckley's personal secretary, at the Administration building to deliver CDs to the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve. Brother Staheli took us on a little tour and showed us the First Presidency council room where they meet with the Twelve on a regular basis. BEAUTIFUL ROOM!!! Brother Staheli said "President Hinckley loved this room. This is the same room he reported to the First Presidency in when he returned from his mission in England and he never left!" We also saw the original, signed "The Living Christ" document with all the original signatures. It was a way cool experience.

Dear Craig and Jeff,

On behalf of my entire family, I extend to you our appreciation and love for the very impressive "Man of Honor" CDs you created and so graciously presented to us. They were welcomed with deep gratitude and will always serve as a wonderful remembrance of Mom and Dad and their love of good and uplifting music. You have been blessed with great talent, and we are forever indebted to you for the many donated hours you and others spent using your skills to create this special tribute.

Especially, please accept our heartfelt thank you for your most generous decision to donate all of the net proceeds to the Perpetual Education Fund. Dad would have been very pleased and grateful for your unselfish and kind act of charity on his behalf. Thank you for taking time to come to my office. I had a most delightful time visiting with you.

This has been a tender but sweet time for our family. We have been blessed by the many kindnesses expressed by people like you. If you have an opportunity, please give our love and appreciation to each of the musicians who participated, and if there is anything I can assist you with, feel free to call on me.
