Hannah's snow day dance worked on Thursday night, because we woke up Friday morning to 4 inches of snow and a SNOW DAY! Yes, I know, only 4 inches - you'd think we'd be prepared for those kinds of storms living in Michigan and all, but, despite all of that we had a snow day anyhow. Here are some pictures of the fun we had outside. We lucked out because it wasn't very cold or windy, just snowy, which made for a perfect day to play outside!

We made a sledding run between George's house and ours. It started at the top of the driveway, curved around to the side of the house, and ended in the trees at the bottom of the hill. Needless to say, the kids thought it was great even after the 100th time down. However, Jeff had to get the chainsaw out to chop down a few little trees at the bottom of the run - we didn't want to take an eye out or anything.

And today, less than Super Wednesday, it has almost all been rained away ! Such is Michigan ...
Andrew just said on Tuesday night after we had woken up to a "one-hour delayed" schedule because of our snow storm that he felt he was getting ripped off of snow days and that the school should give them all an extra day or two at spring break!
looks like so much fun!
That is one of the only "good" things about enduring all this snow! Snow days! We had one too, so Mark and the girls were home, but I had to go to work anyway...I, like Andrew, feel incredibly jipped.
Love the rosey cheeked pictures!
