On the Campaign Trail!

We have had so much fun over the last several weeks campaigning for Mitt. It's been a great experience for our family in increasing our education around the whole political process! We had a chance to go to several event's while Mitt was in town.

Here's Mitt at the Sunday rally 2 days before the election. Mario and I went down after church. Apparently, he went to sacarament in Battle Creek earlier that day. We were a few rows back and waved the bigs signs!

Here's Mitt at a luncheon Dad and I attended at the Detroit Economic Club. We scored 2 row table seats with some good members of the Bloomfield Hills ward. Very powerful speech where Mitt first began to outline his economic ideas. We had a chance to sit next to a Palatinean convert named Jamil that has been campaigning with Mitt. He lives in Virginia and is a emigrant of about 10 years. He had an amazing conversion story that I'll share with you in a future post.

Finally, here's Riley and I at the "big win party." This room at the Embassy Suites in Soutfield was PACKED.

We stood probably 20 feet from Mitt during his acceptance speech.

We stood right next to the CNN crew and about 5 feet from the Tuesday night LIVE broadcast.

ITS A BIG NIGHT IN FLORIDA. Don't miss tonight in Florida on MSNBC with the debate. Additionally, if you want to make calls you can now do it from anywhere. Go to www.mittromney.com and go to the CALL AT HOME program. Very cool way to get involved in driving a victory in Florida without actually living there. Beginning tomorrow there are several 4 hour blocks to canvass the Florida Republican voting populus to remind to get out and support Mitt. It was a big part of the Michigan victory and will help to continue to drive momentum leading to super tuesday (2/5).

If you want to join team MITT go to www.mittromney.com

Ben and I were laughing when someone shouted..."we love you Mitt" from the crowd at the acceptence speach, and Mitt paused and said something like..."wow"! Ha Ha! It sounded very intense!

When the camera crew were in front of you - did you say (with a Bill O'Reilly voice) "Don't block the shot!"

Fun to hear about the Romney trail.

Our caucus day comes on Feb. 5.

I'll get "on the team" when I hear Mitt's idea that balancing the budget includes 3 for 2 sales at Eddie Bauer, that solving illegal immigration is accomplished by a standard for all Taco eateries, that strange dreams are not punishable by law ... that's what I'm looking for ! If this blog endorses the man with the hair AND a temple recommend, count me in !
