Welcome to the Day's!
This is what you would see on your way up to our door. The kids don't think it is scary enough, but I love it! Jeff will probably add some of that for the trick-or-treaters when it gets closer to Halloween.
The view of our street from our garage...not too colorful yet!
This pumpkin is a new purchase this year from Nana's Niche & Corner in Milford. They also had white ones that said, "The witch is in" - didn't want to have permission to be a witch everyday! The little witch is a hand-me-down from my mom!
I got this last year at Target - hung over the kid's backpacks.
Scary scarecrows from Dixboro - candle is from there too, it's battery operated! Too cool!
I made these ghosts several years ago in my "homemaking leader" days...I still love 'em.
Another Target find...
I made this table runner 2 years ago. It's more for Thanksgiving, but I always put it out for Halloween, too.
Backyard view from the deck - still pretty green, except for the red maple tree.
Had to end with this pretty picture from our side yard...I just love these - they bloom every fall (can't remember their name) but they are very pretty this year. Can't wait to see everyone else's fall decor - great idea, Mel!

Scott (the garden guy) just planted those blooms in the last pix in our new perrineal ? garden. They are one among many splendid offerings. I love the ghosties and the front porch, too. You have such a nice touch, Amy !
Linda - can't wait to see your garden. We need to before the first snow flies! I just remembered their name...seedum. Glad to know you've gottem too!
I LOVE fall decorations....I just need to get in the mood to get them all out. I did do the fireplace and it is fun, but the kids think I am no fun at Halloween because I only like the cute stuff.....
Those ghosts are so cute! If I'm ever in Homemaking, I'll have to steal the idea from you. The decor looks great! Now we just need to get the leaves to finally change colors!
(To out of staters: we've seriously had high-80's the past few weeks here...it's apocalyptic weather for MICH.)
Thanks Amy!!
