my most recent dates to Costco...

Don't ya love that you get to take your kids with you EVERYWHERE
during the summer?
Even to places that you'd rather not?
Like the grocery store or Target?

But I don't mind taking them to Costco!
Mostly because I have an excuse to sit down
and enjoy a hot dog or slice of pizza with a buddy. :)

This is a crazy week!
Hannah is recovering from her 2-week vacay in Utah
which included EFY-Provo.
The rest of us went to Cincinnati for the weekend,
and now we leave on Saturday for a week up-North at Burt Lake
for a Michel's family reunion!

Of course, Jeff is in San Francisco for the week,
so not only am I getting ready for our trip and company before we leave but
I'm also cleaning the boat!

I'm not complaining - he does so much for our family, work & church
that it makes my head spin - I'm just trying to juggle all of this by myself!
I can't wait until we are in the suburban, loaded up, and headed
up the E-way to the beautiful north!!

My idea of the perfect summer day in MI is to head to Lifetime first thing in the morning, do a class, take the kids swimming and then head to Costco for lunch. After lunch split up the kids with the Days and play until dad gets home. Oh how I miss the simplicity of those days! You know that I always love a trip to Costco.

Have fun up north! We're sad school has started here and we're into reality mode. Yuck.

Those were perfect & simple days, for sure. My kids don't like to swim there anymore...they say they see hair and bandaids at the bottom. Yuck!

I haven't been to LTF all summer - it will be back to the grind in September.

Doesn't that look like Suzy over Alec's shoulder ?

Was she in town ???

Love the sample tour at Costco ! Dad pretends he's getting something for me when it's really seconds for him !
